Ingredients:
- 500 g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced or sliced
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- Juice of half a lemon
- Fresh herbs (parsley, dill) for garnish
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes or ground red pepper
Instructions:
1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
2. Add minced garlic and sauté until golden and fragrant.
3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes on each side, until they turn bright pink.
4. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper to taste. If desired, add red pepper flakes or ground red pepper for some spiciness.
5. Pour the lemon juice over the shrimp, stir, and sauté for another 1-2 minutes.
6. Serve the pan-fried garlic shrimp hot, garnished with fresh herbs.
