Ingredients:


- 1 cup of long-grain rice

- 2 cups of water

- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil

- Salt to taste


Instructions:


1. Rinse the rice in cold water several times until the water runs clear. Drain it in a colander and let excess water drain off.


2. Pour water into a saucepan and bring it to a boil. Add a pinch of salt.


3. Place the rinsed rice in the boiling water. Cook it over medium heat, uncovered, until the rice becomes tender and the water is fully absorbed. This will take about 15-20 minutes.


4. Leave the rice for a short while to let it steam. Then spread it out in the saucepan to let it cool.


5. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add the vegetable oil.


6. Transfer the cooled rice to the heated frying pan and fry it, stirring occasionally, until the rice takes on a golden color and becomes crispy. This will take about 5-7 minutes.


7. Transfer the fluffy rice to a plate and serve it hot.
