Ingredients:


- 1 cup long-grain rice

- 2 cups water

- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

- Salt to taste


Instructions:


1. Rinse the rice in cold water several times until the water becomes clear. Drain it in a colander and let excess water drain.


2. Pour water into a saucepan and bring it to a boil. Add a little salt.


3. Put the rinsed rice into the boiling water. Cook it over medium heat, uncovered, until the rice becomes tender and the water is fully absorbed. This will take about 15-20 minutes.


4. Let the rice sit for a while to finish cooking. Then spread it out in the saucepan to let it cool.


5. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add vegetable oil.


6. Transfer the cooled rice to the heated skillet and fry it, stirring occasionally, until the rice becomes golden and crispy. This will take about 5-7 minutes.


7. Transfer the fluffy rice to a plate and serve hot.
